Complete dosage protocol and reconstitution guide for CJC-1295 DAC (5 mg Vial). Review reconstitution steps, storage guidance, syringe units, and research-use notes.

Quickstart

Reconstitute: Add 2.0 mL bacteriostatic water → 2.5 mg/mL (2500 mcg/mL) concentration.

Typical dose range: 300–1000 mcg per injection, twice weekly (gradual titration).

Easy measuring: At 2.5 mg/mL, 1 unit = 0.01 mL = 25 mcg on a U-100 insulin syringe.

Storage: Lyophilized: freeze at −20 °C (−4 °F) ; after reconstitution, refrigerate at 2–8 °C (35.6–46.4 °F) ; avoid freeze–thaw cycles.

Notes

Practical considerations for consistency and safety. Use new sterile insulin syringes; dispose in a sharps container. Rotate injection sites (abdomen, thighs, upper arms) to reduce local irritation. Inject slowly; wait a few seconds before withdrawing the needle. Document each dose, injection site, and timing to maintain consistency. The DAC modification provides sustained release; maintain consistent twice-weekly scheduling. The 5 mg vial provides more doses per vial, reducing reconstitution frequency.
